PNF-404’s mobile inhabitants are out to bring some Mother’s Day cheer this weekend. Pikmin Bloom players taking a stroll on this Sunday’s upcoming holiday will be able to receive some in-game bonuses and exclusive postcards as they help create a sea of carnations around the world.

On Mother’s Day, Big Flowers in Pikmin Bloom will grow into carnations when players plant regular blue, red, yellow, or white petals around them. When planting flowers, players will receive one bonus coin for every 250 they plant instead of the usual 500 (the cap of 60 coins per day however will still remain). Additionally, postcards obtained on Sunday, May 8th, through expeditions will feature a limited-time “Mother’s Day” design.
