Chocobo GP had a bumpy launch, to say the least. As criticisms of the game continue, Square Enix continues to run a version of damage control — such as in this instance, where the game’s first season will be extended until the end of May, as opposed to ending on May 16th.
We’ve extended the end date of season one in #ChocoboGP, and changed how your remaining Gil will carry over into season two.

In addition, Gil will be transferred from season one to season two, as opposed to remaining Gil being converted into season scores as originally planned. Whether or not this will alleviate some of the game’s issues remains to be seen, though judging by replies to the tweet, people are still generally unsatisfied (even if the specific move is appreciated).
Chocobo GP is available right now.
