The 29th Tetris Maximus event is on its way to Tetris 99, and it marks the return of Nintendo’s most powerful protagonist. Kirby and the Forgotten Land is already one of our favorite Switch games of the year, and soon it’ll be a favorite when it comes to themes in the online puzzle battle royale.
Kirby, Waddle Dee, and Elfilin are banding together for a cute and cheery background. Add in matching Tetriminos, familiar Kirby sounds, and some of Forgotten Land’s music and you’ve got a mix that can’t be beat! Like all previous Maximus Cup themes, you’ll need to gather up 100 points during the event period to receive your reward. This one will be running from April 22nd through the 25th, so be sure to head online and stack some blocks this weekend.
Themes for #Kirby Fighters 2 & Super Kirby Clash, released in previous #Tetris99 MAXIMUS CUP events, will now be available for 1 in-game Ticket each until 6/30 at 11:59pm PT.
Both themes will be redeemable for 30 in-game Tickets each after the event is over. @Tetris_official pic.twitter.com/sLIjLnSh74

That said, if you happened to miss out on past Dream Land designs, there’s some good news! The themes for both Super Kirby Clash and Kirby Fighters 2 can now be redeemed for just 1 in-game ticket. These can be earned by completing fairly simple objectives, putting both of them in reach for newer players or fresh Switch Online subscribers.
After June 30th, their “price” will jump all the way to 30 tickets. When you’re working towards your Kirby and the Forgotten Land Tetris 99 theme, be sure to grab these two on the cheap!
