A few days ago a trio of games made their way to the NES and SNES selections available to Nintendo Switch Online subscribers. Alongside them came two more sneaky additions in the form of SP versions for Super Mario World and Super Punch-Out!!
Like previous SP releases, these are essentially pre-built save-state versions of the games that give you late game content from the beginning. In the case of Super Punch-Out!! that means every circuit, including the unlockable Special Circuit, is available to battle through, while Super Mario World has the Special World completed meaning the game’s graphics have been tweaked and every level is available.
Needless to say they’re unique ways to play the games and you don’t need to expend any effort beyond a few A-presses to experience them now.
