It’s good to be bad – developer Synthetic Domain announced the game Lords of Ravage today, heading to PC and consoles (including Switch). Instead of taking command of the usual party of heroes, you play as the dungeon boss on the brink of defeat as you struggle to overtake the good guys with your dark forces.
There are three Lords you can play as, each with a unique playstyle. You can either sic mobs on your foes to whittle them down before facing them yourself, or join your flunkies more directly to take matters into your own hands. You’ll be able to develop your empire by raiding cities, taking cursed artifacts, and acquiring dark knowledge. All done in a gorgeous style reminiscent of “HD-2D” of recent years.
Lords of Ravage is due sometime this year. We’ll be sure to provide any more info on the game as it becomes pertinent.
