Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is less than a month away, and fans have been treated to both a final trailer and a brand new poster. Each features callbacks to the series, including more of Idris Elba’s Knuckles and the frightening visage of Jim Carey’s Dr. Robotnik looming over a giant 2.
Most notably we get more of the (presumed) Chaos Emerald in action, Sonic snowboarding ala Ice Cap, the Green Hill Zone music in an inconvenient moment, and another look at the giant Eggman Robot.
The poster is the real winner here though, recreating the American Sonic 2 box art in the film’s style.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 will start its theatrical run on April 8th, with some theaters now offering tickets to early access Fan Event screenings on April 6th.
