Mario Kart 8 Deluxe isn’t the only Mario Kart racer getting updates — the little mobile game that could Mario Kart Tour is having a whole slate of new additions and changes, the foremost of which is adding Miis and Mii costumes to the game. Other changes include the following:
- Mushroom Gorge added as a track
- The level cap for drivers, karts, and gliders has been raised to 7
- High-End drivers, karts, and gliders now have an extra favorite course
- Maximum player level has risen to 300
- Certain items now offer extra bonus points
- The Daily Selects lineup has been updated
- New items in the Tier Shop at Tier 50, 55, and 60.
- The usual bug fixes and polish
The Mii Tour has already begun, while the Wave 1 of Mii Costumes comes later this month.
