Due to COVID-19, both the 2020 and 2021 Tokyo Game Show conferences were made digital-only, with the various publishers typically involved instead opting to show their games through other means, albeit under the same banner.

Thankfully that’ll be changing for this year’s show, which will be held in-person at Makuhari Messe just outside Tokyo, the convention’s usual venue.

As for when you can catch the show, it’ll be taking place between September 15th and September 18th. The first two days are classified as Business Days, for those involved in the industry, while the latter two days are for the general public.

The official announcement also acknowledges that there’ll likely be restrictions as to who can visit the venue in person worldwide, so it will be something of a hybrid event with various online streaming options from exhibitors.

We’ll be sure to bring you all the news as it comes in this September.
