It has been announced on Mario Kart Tour’s official social media pages that the ver. 2.12.0 update of the game will be rolling out soon to players. While the upcoming update will likely contain new content, it most notably is set to increase the level cap for all drivers, karts, and gliders.

Recently Mario Kart Tour has been in the series spotlight as its racetracks are confirmed to be coming to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe’s Booster Course expansion pass. Today also marks the first day of the current Sky Tour event that all Mario Kart Tour players can participate in and obtain the Mario (Aviator) character variant.
