It’s Valentine’s Day, and not content to merely spoof Antiques Roadshow, the slate of commercials for Pokémon Legends: Arceus tackles another perennial genre of television, this time romantic reality shows like The Bachelor.
With some truly inspired dialogue (“It’s just the sales — somebody’s gotta manage them!”) and a mischievous plush Budew spreading pollen leads to a lot of sneezing — and a lot of closeness. It’s the exact sort of silly parody I need in my Bachelor-addicted life. (It’s my junk food, okay?)
Pokémon Legends Arceus is out now. Heck, you probably own it already.
