As can be seen in the trailer, some of the new songs to be included in Rhythm Festival are The Legend of Zelda theme, “Megalovania” from Undertale, and “Gurenge” by LiSA (one of the opening themes of the famous anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba).
Rhythm Festival will also have an optional subscription service featuring over 500 songs. These tracks are said to include songs from previous Taiko No Tatsujin titles and new hits. In addition, a new mode titled “Don-Chan Band” will allow up to four players to play the game together while “Great Drum Toy War” will pit opponents against one another.
Currently, Taiko No Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival doesn’t have a concrete release date yet, but we do know the game will launch on Nintendo Switch this year. When more details on this new installment are released from Bandai Namco, we’ll be sure to let you know. In the meantime, get those drum skills ready and get back on the beat!
