While Pokémon Legends: Arceus is set to overhaul the perrenial monster catching franchise in a week, indie devs are still striving to take on the classic genre shake-up. Case in point, there’s Coromon from Tragsoft and Freedom Games.
Primarily inspired by Pokémon’s DS entries in terms of visuals, Coromon lets you take control of a very customizable battle researcher who sets out to save the world by taking down titanic bosses with a team of the titular Coromon.
The game also features a variety of difficulty settings plus the ability to fight online against other players.
Coromon will hit the Nintendo Switch and PC on March 31st, 2022.
