Claymation is an under-appreciated and endangered art form, so anytime a new animation in the style comes out it’s worth celebrating — especially when it’s one as wholesome and lovely as “Good Night, Rowlet,” a two-minute-long tale of a Ditto, some Diglett, and one very sleepy Grass owl.

 

 

While I wish to provide more astute analysis, I’m afraid my brain is just screaming “AWWWWWWW, LOOK AT THE BIRB AND THE ROCK AND THE THE THE…” over and over again. Watch the short and hopefully you, too, will feel such passionate and wholesome feelings of love blossom within you.
