On the heels of the three Metroid Dread spirits becoming readily available, a new Spirit Board event has been announced. This one marks the Street Fighter 35th Anniversary, and is doing things a little bit different. As has been the case in previous themed events you’ll be encountering Street Fighter spirits regularly. At the same time, here comes a new challenger!

Evil Ryu will be available as a brand new spirit, showing what happens when the wandering world warrior succumbs to the Satsui no Hado. Considering this murderous intent typically puts him on par with Akuma when it comes to damage output and ferocity, you’ll have to go for broke on this one.
The five day event will begin on Friday, January 14th. Be sure to punch in to keep your spirit collection topped off, and apparently keep an eye out for more potential surprises – who knows who’ll show up next.
