Even when the Blue Blur stumbles he’s still running fast. Sega has announced that Sonic Colors: Ultimate is now updated to version 3.0. That includes new customization options for Sonic via a Celebration Pack, quality of life updates, and a big get for fans of the Wii original’s soundtrack.

It’s now possible to toggle between Ultimate’s remixes and the original arrangements, letting players experience these stellar songs as they remember them and in a new way. The only Nintendo Switch-specific fix is a visual one during specific “chase” sections, but it does at least close the gap between console versions a little bit.
