Niantic isn’t just aiming to give players games on their mobile devices; it’s always encouraged people to get active out in the world, together. Ever since the days of Ingress, the company has brought people together, and the company is reflecting that sentiment in the latest ad. Titled “Meet You Out There,” the video states Niantic’s mission to connect by featuring people from all over the globe finding excitement and solace through imagery from Pokémon GO, Pikmin Bloom, and Ingress. It also throws in some visuals of their upcoming game Transformers: Heavy Metal.
After a difficult two years of staying indoors more due to the pandemic, this reminder of Niantic’s mission to bring people together in person, and not just through mobile, is much appreciated.
