Yesterday was a big day for Kingdom Hearts fans. Not only did protagonist Sora soar into Super Smash Bros. Ultimate at long last, but we also got confirmation that the whole series would be heading to the Switch (albeit via the cloud). On top of all of that we even have some new pieces of merchandise to report on!

First up is a chess board based on the game Eraqus and Xehanort can be seen playing in the introduction of Kingdom Hearts III. The “Alba & Ater” set is very intricately detailed and naturally it’s going for quite the hefty price – $699.99, to be exact.

Thankfully this next item is much cheaper. If the Dive to the Heart portions of Sora’s new Smash stage caught your eye then you might be interested in this mouse pad, featuring Sora’s iconic stained glass design. This one even includes Donald & Goofy!

Finally, this last one would make for a delightfully quirky gift to give to any Kingdom Hearts fan – a Keyblade shaped ice cube tray. Now you can have the key that locks away the darkness protect your beverages.

All three items are available for pre-order now, with the mouse pad expected to ship in April 2022 while the ice cube tray and chess set will land later in July 2022.

Whether it’s an exciting new entry in a series long established or a weird experiment meant only for the dedicated, Tom is eager to report on it. Rest assured, if Nintendo ever announces Elite Beat Agents 2, he’ll be there.
