On December 18th, 1987, Squaresoft released Final Fantasy for the Famicom in Japan. Little did they know that the game would spawn a massive franchise that’s still going to this day.

That means next year, 2022, will be the series’ 35th Anniversary and it’s going to be celebrated in style thanks to this new piece of artwork from regular artist Yoshitaka Amano. Check it out:

The logo has already appeared in front of the latest trailer for Stranger in Paradise and we’ll likely see it crop up again alongside the next Chocobo GP news. Here’s hoping even more Switch-bound announcements are imminent, too! (Theatrhythm 3, please?)
