Hot on the heels of Okami’s Amaterasu, Monster Hunter Rise is back with another inter-company Capcom cross-over. This time around it’s Street Fighter – though perhaps not the character you’d expect.
That’s right, you’ll be able to dress up as Akuma. While it might seem a bit odd to be skipping Ryu or Chun Li, the antagonist’s distinctive traditional Japanese flair does fit quite well with Rise’s aesthetic.
Not only does the layered armor help you look the part, if you equip a Sword & Shield those attacks will become punches and kicks, and you’ll even be able to unleash hadokens.
You’ll be able to grab the Akuma layered armor via a new Event Quest starting August 27th!
