You shouldn’t need another reason to be excited for Super Monkey Ball at this point, but maybe this will give you another reason to hype: it looks like we now know when you’ll learn Banana Mania’s next playable character. Geoff Keighley has shared that the reveal will take place during Gamescom Opening Night Live, happening this Wednesday.

We’ve seen familiar monkeys and costumes return, but the real draw has been guest characters from Sega’s own library. No hint or indication was given of who could be next, but there’s no shortage of possibilities within that mindset. Billy Hatcher’s not a stranger to rolling, and Samba de Amigo’s got its own simians to share. Only time will tell, specifically sometime after the stream begins at 11 a.m. PT on August 25th.
