Tilting the floor to precisely maneuver spherically constrained simians is a form of art. It’ll take determination, ingenuity, and a whole lot of potassium to fuel you through the hundreds of stages in Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania. Thankfully, the Switch version of this 20th anniversary celebration won’t be left in the dust by other consoles when it comes to framerate.

Per the above tweet, it’s been confirmed that Banana Mania on Switch will run at 60FPS, something that fellow fall Sega release Sonic Colors Ultimate can’t match. Along with that, the game will include gyro controls as an option for those that came into the series through Banana Blitz. This follows on from the previously confirmed (and toggled off by default) addition of jumping to the game, making for a game that aims to carry the spirit of the whole series even if the courses are from just the first three Monkey Ball games.

Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania will roll onto Switch (and a whole bunch of other platforms) starting October 5th.
