Pokémon GO Fest 2021 is now over, but thanks to the ticket holders around the world completing at least 24 global challenges, three bonus events have been unlocked. These three Ultra Unlock events are available to all players and today the official Pokémon GO blog published details for the first two events – Part 1: Time and Part 2: Space – yet being quite vague on Part 3.

Get ready to celebrate Sinnoh legendaries Dialga and Palkia by finding them in 5-star raids, spot Unown U in 1-star raids, Heracross breaking out of its regional exclusive temporarily into 3-star raids, and more! Check out the full details for the first two parts below.

 

Ultra Unlock Part 1: Time

When: Friday, July 23rd at 10 a.m. to Tuesday, August 3rd at 8 p.m. (your local time).

Features

  • The following Pokémon will be appearing in raids from Friday, July 23, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. to Friday, August 6, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. local time:
    • Dialga will be appearing in five-star raids. If you’re lucky, you might find a Shiny Dialga!
    • Magneton, Aerodactyl, Porygon2, and Golurk will be appearing in three-star raids.
    • Unown U, Cranidos, Shieldon, Bronzor, and Klink will be appearing in one-star raids. If you’re lucky, you might find a Shiny Unown U!
  • The following Pokémon will be appearing more frequently in the wild: Voltorb, Porygon, Omanyte, Kabuto, Baltoy, Cranidos, Shieldon, and more. If you’re lucky, you might encounter a Shiny Cranidos or a Shiny Shieldon!
  • The following Pokémon will be hatching from 7 km Eggs: Omanyte, Kabuto, Aerodactyl, Lileep, Anorith, Cranidos, and Shieldon.
  • Complete Timed Research for a chance to earn encounters with certain event-themed Pokémon! This Timed Research will be available from Friday, July 23, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. to Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at 8:00 p.m. local time. There will also be themed Field Research available at PokéStops throughout the event.

 

Ultra Unlock Part 2: Space

When: Friday, August 6th at 10 a.m. to Tuesday, August 17th at 8 p.m. (your local time).

Features

  • The following Pokémon will be appearing in raids from Friday, August 6, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. to Friday, August 20, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. local time:
    • Palkia will be appearing in five-star raids. If you’re lucky, you might find a Shiny Palkia!
    • Alakazam, Kangaskhan, and Heracross will be appearing in three-star raids. If you’re lucky, you might find a Shiny Kangaskhan or a Shiny Heracross!
    • Unown U, West Sea and East Sea Shellos, Elgyem, and Espurr will be appearing in one-star raids. If you’re lucky, you might find a Shiny Unown U!
  • The following Pokémon will be appearing more frequently in the wild: Clefairy, Munna, Red-Striped and Blue-Striped Basculin, Elgyem, Heatmor, Durant, and more!
  • The following regional-exclusive Pokémon will be hatching from 7 km Eggs: West Sea and East Sea Shellos, Red-Striped and Blue-Striped Basculin, Heatmor, and Durant.
  • Complete Timed Research to earn encounters with certain event-themed Pokémon! This Timed Research will be available from Friday, August 6, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. to Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at 8:00 p.m. local time. There will also be themed Field Research available at PokéStops throughout the event.

 

Ultra Unlock Part 3: ???

When: Friday, August 20th at 10 a.m. to Tuesday, August 31st at 8 p.m. (your local time).

  • What will happen once Parts 1 and 2 are over? Will these abnormal events continue to happen? What awaits us during Part 3? Stay tuned!

 

While Part 3 is still unknown, it would be safe to say that Giratina (the last member of the Creation Trio) or Arceus will take center stage. That or Hoopa could reign further chaos and appear in-game for the first time! Expect more news next month as we get closer to the start of Ultra Unlock Part 3.
