One of my most awaited sequels and Switch games in general is nearly here, and Square Enix is pulling out all the stops to get fans excited. NEO: The World Ends with You has been a long time coming, both in general and since its initial reveal, but it’s almost time to step back into Shibuya.
First, have a look at the game’s final trailer to see plenty of its new and familiar gameplay as well as the characters that’ll be populating its supernatural streets:
Plenty of new players and Reapers are featured, not to mention even more teases of old friends from the first game, but it’s that very last bit of info that’s most exciting. Yes, a demo will be dropping this Friday, June 25th, to give a taste of what’s to come next month. If you’ve been eager for another dose of the series’ signature style, that wait’s just become a whole lot more bearable.
NEO: The World Ends with You will fully release on July 27th.
