Thanks to Nintendo and Camelot, golf and tennis will always feel like counterparts to me. Sidebar Games did a great job on the links, and while Sports Story promises to be a more all encompassing affair, it sounds like you’ll be spending a whole lot of time on the courts as well. Speaking on the unexpected growth of the game, they had this to share:
Sports Story Mini Update: Some parts of the game unexpectedly grew quite large. The tennis part now has a full career that spans multiple zones. We decided we had no choice but to see it through, and look forward to sharing the results of our struggles. We think it was worth it.

As far as E3 announcements go it’s an understated one, and yet I’m eagerly anticipating the day Sidebar is ready to share their followup with the world. We already knew there’d be a tennis school, but the idea of an entire career is an exciting one. They also had a screenshot to share, introducing your first steps on the way to being an ace yourself.

Look out for more news on Sports Story, including a release date, sometime in the future.
