Today’s Wholesome Direct livestream was quite the serotonin booster, and left a lot of us here wishing we could play a number of the games that were shown right now. Fortunately for all of us, one of the titles featured in today’s showcase, Beasts of Maravilla Island, is playable now – in fact, it was released today!
This gorgeous (and yes, very wholesome) photography game from Banana Bird Studios and Whitehorn Games puts players in the role of a young Wildlife Photographer on a quest to fill her grandfather’s photo book. Her journey takes her to Maravilla Island, a tropical paradise loaded with breathtaking scenery and captivating animals to encounter and photograph.
I’d like to personally request that someone in the scientific community find a way to make the in-game banana birds or feathered monkeys a real thing, because they might just be some of the cutest creatures ever imagined.
