The island of Pasio has had some new visitors make landfall and surf the seas recently. That’s right, the leaders of Team Aqua and Team Magma have been calling Pokémon Masters EX home now along with Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire’s legendary Pokémon – Kyogre and Groudon. While the rollout of including Maxie and Archie in-game began last week, a new event focusing on the two team leaders is in full swing. Throw some punches and Sync Pairs into the mix with Extreme Battle Event: Ancient Brawl!
From Wednesday, June 2nd at 11 p.m. PT to Sunday, June 20th at 10:59 p.m., the Extreme Battle Event: Ancient Brawl will be active. Successfully takedown Archie & Kyogre and Maxie & Groudon and you can earn the following rewards.

Obtain Special Gear and Unlock Its Level Cap!
In this event, you can obtain the special gear listed below as rewards:
- Team Aqua Pin x 4
- Team Magma Pin x 4
You can unlock the level cap for the special gear by earning all the rewards!
If you equip a Team Aqua Pin or Team Magma Pin that has been fully upgraded, it will raise HP by 30 and Speed by 20 for Sync Pairs with the same type as the gear. It will raise HP by 15 and Speed by 10 for Sync Pairs with a different type as the gear. Team Aqua Pin is Water-type, and the Team Magma Pin is Ground-type.
Note: In this event, only the gear that is earned as a reward for the number of times all players complete Special Event Phase 2: Land and Sea Awaken can be fully upgraded.
Important
- To participate, you must have completed Main Story Chapter 1: The More the Merrier (Normal) in single-player.
- The sync pairs that appear as opponents in battle have different capabilities than those you can actually obtain.
- To attempt missions, you must have completed Main Story Chapter 1: The More the Merrier (Normal) in single-player.
- All mission completion rewards must be claimed within three days of the mission period ending.
- The time period and featured content are subject to change without notice.
