With a title like Famicom Detective Club, it’s clear these mystery adventures have some history behind them. Sadly, that legacy remained Japan-only save a few shout-outs from Smash Bros. For the curious and invested alike that wait for recognition (and especially localization) is finally over.
Both Famicom Detective Club: The Missing Heir and Famicom Detective Club: The Girl Who Stands Behind can be experienced in English for the first time on Switch. Judging by their reception, it’ll be time well spent in an obscure corner of Nintendo’s past. They’re both available on the Nintendo eShop now, with a $10 discount available for anyone who purchases both.
