While streams and digital events were a given, today E3 has revealed some of its further plans for its all digital 2021 event. These plans will include both a dedicated online portal and mobile app, allowing fans and virtual attendees to make the experience their own at no extra cost.

Some of the announced features include the following:

  • Virtual booths
  • Hosted events
  • Video conferencing
  • Profile and avatar creation
  • Leaderboards
  • Online lounges and forums

These features are designed both to share exhibitor information easily and keep “guests” connected with each other as they like. You’ll also be able to easily access the E3 live broadcast through the portal and/or app, putting conferences and announcements alongside everything else included.

E3 2021 will begin on June 12th, with registration for these virtual features opening sometime in the near future.
