Pac-Man 99 may be the fresh face in the battle royale scene (and also effectively a sentient face), but for all you puzzle fans Nintendo has some news. Tetris 99 has received a small update that’ll allow players to use in-game tickets to pick up six of its previous Maximus Cup exclusive themes.

These were previously only available as prizes, and only for a limited time each. Now players who missed out can still get access to visuals and music from:
- Luigi’s Mansion 3
- Animal Crossing: New Horizons
- Paper Mario: The Origami King
- Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition
- Ring Fit Adventure
- Pokémon Sword and Shield
Each theme costs 30 tickets and to earn tickets you’ll need complete daily challenges. Even with this update, there are still a few Maximus Cup themes that can’t be picked up this way. This includes the most recent theme, that being based on Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury. Hopefully, these missing themes will be added in a future update.
