The 24th annual D.I.C.E. Awards ceremony has just wrapped up, and various Nintendo Switch titles have claimed awards. To the surprise of absolutely no one who’s been following the many game award ceremonies over the last year, Hades dominated the competition once again, mopping up a total of five awards. 

The winning Nintendo Switch titles (existing and upcoming) are listed below, along with their respective awards:

 

  • Animal Crossing: New Horizons: “Family Game of the Year”
  • Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout: “Online Game of the Year”
  • Hades: “Game of the Year,” “Outstanding Achievement for an Independent Game,” “Action Game of the Year,” “Outstanding Achievement in Game Design,” and “Outstanding Achievement in Game Direction”
  • Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit: “Racing Game of the Year”
  • Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate: “Fighting Game of the Year”
  • Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2: “Sports Game of the Year”

 

The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences partnered with IGN to stream the event online, which was presented in an all-new format. A total of 57 games were nominated across its 23 award categories.
