Update on June 30th, 2021 at 4 p.m. PT: The collection’s release has been postponed to Thursday, July 1st. UNIQLO is also implementing purchase limits online and in-store. Guests can purchase only 1 piece per pattern.
Last week, Uniqlo announced that Animal Crossing-inspired fashion would be returning to the retail chain’s offerings. Characters from the cutesy life-sim appeared in Uniqlo’s Global UT Nintendo contest in 2017, but that winning design was limited to kid-sized t-shirts (and it was also a pre-Animal Crossing: New Horizons world). Thankfully, this brand new UT Animal Crossing: New Horizons collection features plenty of different design options across adult, women, kids, and baby clothing sizes as well as some accessories. Uniqlo is even going the extra mile by offering the designs in-game too and opening up their own Uniqlo island in Animal Crossing: New Horizons later this month.

Clothing ranges in price from $9.90 (Baby and Kids) to $19.90 (Adults and Women) whereas the accessories are $14.90 (bags) or $29.90 (2-way towels). There are some differences between the release in Japan and the US – mainly concerning the kids’ collection (a purple Able Sister t-shirt and a variety of shorts) and the promotion of a free mask case when purchasing at least three pieces from the collection.
Uniqlo releases this new UT Collection in Japan first later this month on Thursday, April 29th. Animal Crossing: New Horizons fans in the US will have to wait a bit long for the collection to be released online and in stores on Monday, June 7th.
