Annapurna Interactive had a double feature of announcements during today’s Indie World Showcase. First up was confirming that Last Stop (previously announced at Microsoft’s Xbox London event in November 2019, followed by an appearance at last year’s Xbox Games Showcase) would be coming to Nintendo Switch.
Last Stop is a story-driven third-person anthology adventure written and developed by Variable State. From the creators of the award-winning Virginia, Last Stop immerses players in the lives of three modern Londoners whose worlds collide in the midst of a supernatural crisis. Last Stop is fully voice acted, featuring hours of dialogue and a voice cast of dozens and an original soundtrack by BAFTA award winning composer Lyndon Holland, performed by the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra.
Unravel Last Stop’s supernatural tale for yourself when it comes to Nintendo Switch this July.
Next up was the reveal of a brand new game, Hindsight – a poignant narrative that will ask you “What will you take with you? And what will you leave behind?”
From the creator of the critically acclaimed Prune, Hindsight is a narrative exploration game spanning the entirety of a woman’s life, from birth to present day, as she unpacks memories following the loss of her mother. Players revisit her childhood home, sort through personal belongings, step through windows to memories frozen in time and glimpse unseen futures.
Hindsight is currently slated to release sometime in 2021.
