There has been a disturbance in The Force…
Many have been patiently awaiting more news on the latest entry in the LEGO Star Wars series for quite some time now. The absolutely massive title is planned to boast a fully open world, a new quest system, and a story that spans all nine films in the Skywalker saga. It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything about the game, with the latest bit of news on the title coming from an interview back in January. Before that, it’s been since August 2020 that the game was delayed to Spring 2021.
Such long droughts between news updates have led many fans to fear that the game has once again been delayed, and unfortunately, it appears those fears have become reality. Earlier today, TT Games officially announced via Twitter that LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is delayed indefinitely:

This is the third title being published by WB Games to be delayed this year, with the latest Harry Potter and Batman games both getting pushed into 2022. It’s a shame, but with how upside-down the world has been over the past year, it’s not very surprising. No new release date or updated release window was given, but here’s hoping this delay isn’t as extreme as the other titles in WB Games’ catalog, and we do indeed get to explore the brick-filled galaxy far, far away this calendar year.
