All hail the return of the Mii! Nintendo of Japan has just dropped a new trailer for the upcoming Mii-based Adventure game, Miitopia, and you best believe it’s full of Mii goodness!
While it’s all in Japanese, it’s a fairly clear runthrough of what to expect from the game on Switch.
We get a fresh look at the game’s expanded Mii Maker, with additions like two-toned hair and more variety in features being available this time. Of course this isn’t just an RPG with Miis, as the social aspect of Miitopia has always been an interesting one. With the addition of dates, that’s only going to get more alluring.
And of course, horses. One of the biggest new features are these hooved allies that can be customized and cajoled just like Miis can. With the right friendship, your equine ally may even bring some heat of its own!
Originally released on the Nintendo 3DS back in 2016, the updated Miitopia allows you to create a cast of lovable characters to go head to head with an evil, face-stealing fiend.
Miitopia will ride onto Nintendo Switch on May 21st, 2021.
