After hopping around to Pokémon of different generations, including one from Kalos, it’s finally time for Unova starters to come to Pokémon GO Community Days! Leading off is Gen V’s grass starter Snivy, the smug snake that I and many others partnered up with in Pokémon Black and White.

Like previous grass starters, evolving Snivy to Servine and then finally to Serperior will give it Frenzy Plant as a Charge Move. This will also be the debut of shiny Snivy in GO, with those extra collectible colorations coming out in droves (or is that groves?). There will also be a purchasable special research questline titled Snivy in the Sunshine, available for $1 or the equivalent cost in your area.
You can track down those smug shiny snakes when Snivy’s Community Day begins on Sunday, April 11th, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. your local time.
