There’s no shortage of Kirby coverage around here, but it’s been a bit since I’ve had the pleasure of talking about Kirby Star Allies. The latest full game from the series is celebrating its 3rd Anniversary today, with a new illustration featuring the game’s cast of characters getting some much needed R&R.

Kirby, Francisca, Flamberge, Zan Partizanne, Hyness, and even Void Soul are enjoying the beach rather than the trademark dreariness of Jambastion. It’s a side of these new characters that the game doesn’t get to touch on and perfect for this sort of commemoration.
