Microids has announced that it will be bringing Revolution Software’s latest adventure game, Beyond a Steel Sky, to the Nintendo Switch and other consoles in Q3 2021.

The game, which launched for Apple Arcade and PC last year, is a sequel to the 1994 point-and-click adventure Beneath a Steel Sky, and similarly takes place in the dystopic Union City. Unlike its predecessor, however, it takes place in a fully 3D environment rendered in a comic-book style.

Check out the game’s launch trailer from last year to get an idea of what the game’s about:

You’ll be able to venture through Union City yourself on Switch in Q3 of this year.

Whether it’s an exciting new entry in a series long established or a weird experiment meant only for the dedicated, Tom is eager to report on it. Rest assured, if Nintendo ever announces Elite Beat Agents 2, he’ll be there.
