About a year ago the Hobonichi Mother Project was barely stirring, with calls for manga artists followed by the announcement proper leading to a steady roll out of products and celebrations. One of the most notable was Pollyanna, a tribute book full of illustrations and memories from those eventually recruited artists. Now it looks like Shigesato Itoi is at it again…

Yes, a second tribute book is on the way! Titled Pollyanna 2, by this brief Tweet it’s most likely it’ll be similar in structure and intent as the previous publication. Once again Hobonichi is calling for manga artists who love the Mother series, either by fans or the artists themselves. Many contributed to the first Pollyanna, including Undertale creator Toby Fox.

No release date or other specifics were provided for the follow up tribute, other than a deadline for emails on March 31st. Last year’s Pollyanna is currently available for about $24 after conversation, sans shipping.
