It was revealed by Masahiro Sakurai that Pyra/Mythra’s reveal movie was handled almost entirely by Xenoblade Chronicles 2’s developer MonolithSoft. Normally these are scripted and conceptualized by Sakurai himself, but this time around we got to see a little bit of Smash play out in the XC2 engine.
That isn’t all MonolithSoft put together though, as another quick cutscene-esque video arrived when the duo’s DLC dropped.
Here's a short movie from MONOLITHSOFT, the developer of Xenoblade 2, to mark the release of Pyra/Mythra as a new DLC fighter for Super #SmashBrosUltimate. It looks like they can't wait to join the fight!

It shows the contrast in Pyra and Mythra’s personalities while also giving a glimpse of just how thankful a character can be when they’re actually invited to Smash. For comparison, Sephiroth crashed the roster and got beat up via boss fight instead.
Who knows who and what’ll come along with Challenge Pack 10, but in the meantime you can download and play as Pyra/Mythra now.
