During last month’s Pokémon GO Tour: Kanto event, it appears that certain players were able to take part in the ticketed portion of the event without purchasing a ticket. Niantic has apologized for the issue and has announced a new Pokémon GO Tour: Kanto Bonus event in order to help players who paid for their tickets feel like they got their money’s worth versus players who were able to access the event without paying.

The Kanto Bonus event will run from 10:00 a.m. on March 5th to 10:00 a.m. April 5th, local time, and will grant players who purchased a ticket a special Timed Research that will reward the following:

  • 30 Ultra Balls
  • A Lure Module
  • A Poffin
  • A Super Incubator
  • A Lucky Egg
  • Three Silver Pinap Berries
  • A Star Piece
  • An Elite Fast TM
  • An Elite Charged TM
  • A Charged TM
  • A Fast TM
  • 100 Mew Candy

A free bundle with three Remote Raid Passes will also be available for players participating in the Kanto Bonus event.

As always, remember to be aware of your surroundings and make sure to follow your local public health guidelines while playing Pokémon GO. Stay safe out there, Trainers!
