It’s right there in the title – Capcom is bringing back one of its classics from the grave with Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection. And “grave” is right, because this game is absolutely merciless when it comes to how often Sir Arthur will meet his end. Worry not, brave knights, for this quest need not be taken alone.
As shown in the game’s launch trailer, this latest G’nG features co-op for two players. While one will still be Arthur, the other will call upon the Three Wise Guys to lend a hand. These ancestors each have their own unique traits, like building platforms or shielding you from harm, giving you some reprieve from the Demon Realm’s hordes.
With new spells and weapons, modern conveniences, and a fresh artstyle; Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection is a retro revival done right. It’s available today on the eShop for $29.99.
