For those that just can’t get enough pixelated pastorals, Stardew Valley has been updated to version 1.5 on Switch and other consoles. This latest major patch (and a few smaller fix patches) have already been present on PC, but console players can now enjoy split screen co-op too.
The Stardew Valley 1.5 Update for Switch, Xbox, and PlayStation are out, and should be available on all platforms within the next couple of hours.

It’s not just multiplayer that’s added this time around either. Many “Advanced Game Options” have been introduced, meant for players very familiar with that game out for a new start in the valley. This includes multiple kinds of randomizers, the ability to add cabins for other players to your farm right away, and even a new Beach Farm style recommended for acclimated farm-managers.
The full list of features can be found on the Stardew Valley Developer Blog. Some mentioned (such as mod support) are exclusive to the PC build but it still provides a spoiler free rundown of what’s new in Stardew Valley 1.5.
