After its initial “Summer 2020” release window was delayed, the strikingly gorgeous adventure platformer Blue Fire is now available on Nintendo Switch, with an exciting new trailer to boot.

Zelda fans in particular may be interested, as there appears to be lots of temples to explore, gigantic monsters to fight, quests to pursue, and collectibles to find. Speaking of Zelda, the black substance seen in the trailer really reminds me of Breath of the Wild’s Calamity, and that blue getup seen at the 0:54 mark looks awfully familiar — this could be a hint that players can expect some references and easter eggs!

Of course, inspirations aside, the game certainly appears to have an identity of its own. There’s a heavy focus on platforming and parkour-style movement, and the combat looks incredibly slick and fast.

Blue Fire is now available on the Nintendo Switch eShop.
