It’s been a long wait, but it’s finally happening! Nintendo of America has announced that the Animal Crossing X Sanrio amiibo cards are finally coming to the US after a four year wait!
The cards were originally released in Japan and the UK all the way back in 2016, but never made their way to the states for one reason or another.
The packs will be sold exclusively at Target stores on March 26th for $5.99. Best of all, each pack will include all six cards, so no need to buy more than one!

Each card unlocked a Sanrio themed villager in the Animal Crossing: New Leaf on the 3DS, but the characters were never added to New Horizons. You can check out each villager in the videos below to get an idea of who might be coming to your island later this year!
For those of you in other regions, fear not. Nintendo has announced the cards are getting re-released in both the UK and Japan as well!
Stay tuned for pre-order details as we get them!
