Can you believe Valentine’s Day is only a month away now? I’m a firm believer in chocolates, but all you flower fans who Gotta Catch ‘em All are in luck. Pokémon GO has announced what its February Community Day offering is going to be, and it’s a flowering cutie with a great shiny!

That’s right, Roselia is going to be in full bloom this time! The Thorn Pokémon will be widely available and at the customary increased shiny rate. Fans of black and purple roses rejoice, as this is a great alternate color for Roselia and its evolution Roserade.
Speaking of Roserade, when evolved into during the event period it’ll get two moves instead of the usual one. For a Fast Attack, it’ll have Bullet Seed while its Charged Attack will be Weather Ball (Fire-type). Be sure to stock up on Sinnoh Stones by completing Timed Research tasks that are available during the event.
Budew’s not left out of the fun either, as it’ll be hatching from 2 km Eggs during the Community Day. Hatch distance will also be cut down to ¼ the usual rate, with Incense running three hours per usual.
For those that are okay with spending a little, the Stop and Smell the Roselia Special Research story will be available for $1. If you’ve already grabbed a ticket for the Pokémon GO Tour: Kanto or get one by Wednesday, February 3rd, at 11:59 p.m. PT you’ll be getting this one free of charge.
The February Community Day starring Roselia will go live on Sunday, February 7th, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in your local timezone.
