Every January, The Pokémon Company’s lead developer Game Freak releases a special illustration to commemorate the beginning of another calendar year. The latest collectible artwork in their lineup of yearly celebrations will be released as a clear file (size A4) for the public tomorrow Saturday, January 9th across Japan.
As seen above, the “Maximize Live” illustration depicts the Pokémon band dubbed as the “Maximizers” performing to a live crowd of trainers. In the sky lies fireworks shaped like the faces of ox-related Pokémon – such as Miltank and Tauros – to appropriately coincide with the upcoming year’s dedicated animal. The 2021 New Years’clear file will retail for ¥264 ($2.54), however, the item will only be available for an undisclosed limited amount of time.
