There sure are a lot of Saiyans in Dragon Ball FighterZ. It’s easy to poke fun at how many Gokus there are (six, not counting fusions) but as a whole there are no less than 20 Saiyans. Someone has to do something about this, and it would appear the developers are in agreement.
Enter Baby, specifically Super Baby 2, from Dragon Ball GT. The last member of the parasitic Tuffle race, they’re out to exterminate Saiyans and take hold of the planet they’ve adopted as a home – Earth. They do so by possessing characters, both en masse and familiar. That body is technically Vegeta’s, though, so on some level we have yet another Saiyan on the board.
That’s best seen with their Golden Great Ape form, another odd addition to Dragon Ball courtesy of GT. One more wouldn’t hurt though, right? Because along with Baby, Bandai Namco have announced GT’s Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta (not to be confused with the version of Gogeta already available as DLC) as the closer for FighterZ Pass 3.
Super Baby 2 will be added to the game on January 15th, with Pass holders able to use him a couple days early. SS4 Gogeta will follow sometime later in 2021.
