On the official YouTube channel for Monster Hunter, you can now find two trailers for the upcoming game Monster Hunter Rise that features gameplay of the Lance and Long Sword. The series is widely known for its variety of weapons, and in this footage, you can now see how the Lance and Long Sword will look in Monster Hunter Rise.

The Lance has two silkbind attacks called Twin Vine and Anchor Rage. Thanks to the weapon’s precision, defense, and evasive capabilities, the Lance is perfect for direct hits to the monster you are hunting. We even see how you can attack monsters from behind in the video.
As for the Long Sword, it’s used to attack each monster with consecutive slashes to charge up the Spirit Gauge, which then unleashes powerful Spirit Blade attacks. This weapon has two silkbind attacks called Soaring Kick and Serene Pose.
