In just a few days we’ll be ringing in the second anniversary of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Though its DLC development has slowed down a bit and a certain much-more-peaceful title has become many’s most played Switch game this year, there’s no reason not to celebrate another year of Smash.
Once again, every fighter added in for Ultimate is featured in the commemorative image. A few things have changed since last year’s, though. For one, both Byleths, Min Min, Steve, and Alex have gotten in on the group shot. Inkling and Hero have also changed up their looks, going with the first Splatoon’s Inkling Boy design and Dragon Quest III’s Arusu/Erdrick.
Just like the first Smash Ultimate anniversary, EXP and SP rewards from the Spirit Board will be tripled. Unlike that one, though, the item on offer will be Rematches. This’ll help you finish up that collection (for now) if you still have some spirits missing.
You’ll be able to rack up those resources and celebrate this second Smashing year once this Spirit Board event goes live on December 4th.
