Ever since the goddess Amaterasu made her way to the First 4 Figures lineup in resin statue form two years ago, Okami fans have clamored for more high-quality works from the figure company. Rather than focusing on the original console title again, the next Okami lineup piece will come from the lesser-known DS spiritual successor Okamiden. As you can see below, Chibiterasu will take on Dark Chibiterasu in a timeless battle as First 4 Figures’ next release!
The video seen above contains a painted prototype of First 4 Figures’ most current work-in-progress build. The statue (officially titled as Okamiden – Chibiterasu vs. Dark Chibiterasu) will be made of the same materials as the previous Amaterasu figure. This time, Chibi wields the signature Divine Retribution from a vantage point high above his wicked counterpart. While there is no release date or price details available just yet, we will be sure to let you all know of the information once it is publicly unveiled!
